| | Overall, my experience here at Fort Davis has been wonderful. Two nights ago, I saw the rings of Saturn through a giant telescope, (it looked like an olive with a toothpick going through it.) I've taken hundreds of pictures, (and I'm hoping that my film pictures turn out, because I snapped one of Hotel Limpia, and it's vine-covered walls.) Last night we had steak and taters, and good company. This morning I woke up at 11:00, (which I haven't done in FOREVER,) and lazed about enjoying the rainy weather. Now, I'm going to go see my mom dressed up as a servant making biscuits in the Fort's reproduced kitchen, and then it'll be time to head back home. |
